  • Importance of Education
    • Students should know that putting in the effort in school is important without the pressure of having to receive all A’s or 4’s or whatever. Work hard and be rewarded!

    • Introducing healthy saving habits at an early age helps instill a saving mindset. “A penny saved is a penny earned.” – B. Franklin

GOALS OF THE PROGRAM:
  • Development of Social Skills
    • Continuing the conversations from grades K-8, we want students to have real conversations about their future and how we can help them meet those goals.
  • Importance of Education
    • We realize that every student’s next step looks different: work, college, trade school or apprenticeship. We want to support and reward students working towards high school graduation.
  • Financial Literacy
    • Students can start gaining financial independence and understand the responsibility with having a debit card – all while parents/guardians help watch their accounts (including the ability to add funds)!
      • BFC PRO TIP: Take advantage of our Save the Change program that rounds every debit card purchase up to the nearest dollar and places that rounded-up amount into your savings account.
    • As students near high school graduation, we are ready to help them be successful with their next financial endeavor. Credit Card to build credit? First loan for a vehicle or college? We are here to walk them through the process!
